The story behind Euonia

Built from the things people feel but never say out loud.

Most founders chase trends. Kunwar didn't. He chased the questions most people avoid sitting with.

Kunwar Mahajan Founder, Euonia

Long before Euonia existed, Kunwar was already obsessed with one thing: what people feel but never say out loud. At 16, while others were figuring out exams and careers, he was writing stories about grief, isolation, identity, and emotional collapse. Not because it was fashionable. Because it was familiar.

His creative journey began with a camera and a pen. That combination led him to win multiple national and international awards for short films while still in school. They didn't win because they were flashy. They won because they were uncomfortable, honest, and emotionally precise.

Parallel to filmmaking, Kunwar authored two books that dive straight into psychological fragility and inner conflict. His characters don't get easy endings. They reflect the reality most people quietly live with.

That insight didn't come from market research decks. It came from years of observing human behaviour through storytelling, journalism, and lived experience.

People don't avoid help because they don't need it. They avoid it because the system feels cold, judgmental, expensive, and exposed.

The uncomfortable truth most mental health startups avoid saying

Why Euonia exists

He refused to accept two bad options.

Clinical therapy

That feels inaccessible and intimidating.

Unsafe peer spaces

That lack structure and accountability.

The third path

So he built something in between.

Anonymous, supervised, emotionally human support, designed for young Indians who are overwhelmed but not "broken enough" to seek therapy.

He doesn't position himself as a guru. He doesn't romanticise healing.

His belief is simple and strict

Feel safe They speak They heal

If people feel safe, they will speak.
If they speak, they can heal.

Euonia isn't a side project. It's the natural extension of everything Kunwar has ever created: stories, films, words, now turned into a system that listens back.

Emotional wellbeing, reimagined
